Throwing a theme party can be a very exciting event to plan, here are a few steps in planning your them party:

Figure out how many people you are going to invite (this will determine what your budget is going to be)





Set a budget- this will include: food (caterer or non-caterer), decorations that will go according to your theme, music-DJ or Band this will set the mood for the theme, place where you will have your theme party (will it be at a facility or in your home), party favors-according to the theme, invitations- according to your theme (this will the very first impression you will give to your guest) this would let your guest know what kind of party you are giving and it will let them how to dress. If you want your guest to come dress according to your theme for, instance a costume party this is a good way to let them know





Choose some games that would suite the party theme for example Super bowl-trivia game related to football, for 60's or 70's party play "name that music" from that era
